Small Group Training

Exercising alone can sometimes feel lonely. You might want the personal attention of a private trainer. But you also want to share your experience with others.

My small group training is designed to give you the best of both worlds. I coach tiny groups of typically two to six people. Every person in the group shares similar fitness objectives.

This setting allows you to receive individualized coaching. At the same time, you get to build a wonderful community of supportive friends.

I make sure that no one gets lost in the crowd. I am right there to guide you through every movement. We work together to build your strength, mobility, and confidence.

The Sweet Spot of Personal Attention

Many fitness classes have twenty or thirty people in a single room. In a large class, the instructor cannot watch everyone. It is easy to use incorrect form without realizing it.

I limit my small groups to a maximum of six participants. This small size is my secret to keeping you safe.

I can see every single movement you make. I can correct your posture in real-time. I can adjust an exercise if your knees or back are feeling stiff that day.

You get the safety and customization of a private session. But you also get the energy of a team. It is the perfect balance for active aging.

Sharing Your Goals with Peer Groups

I do not throw random people together into a class. I carefully group my clients based on what they want to achieve.

If you want to focus on stretching and flexibility, you will train with others who want the same. If you want to focus on balance and mobility, your group will share that exact focus.

This means every exercise I choose is relevant to you. You do not have to worry about keeping up with a different fitness level.

Everyone in your group is on a similar journey. You will face the same challenges and celebrate the same victories together.

The Power of Group Support and Accountability

Staying consistent with exercise is much easier when you do it with friends. When you join a small group, you build a powerful support system.

Your group members expect to see you at each session. They will ask about you if you miss a workout. This friendly accountability is incredibly powerful.

Science supports this approach to long-term physical activity. Researchers have studied how group dynamics affect older adults. They found that group-oriented exercise programs lead to significantly better attendance and long-term habits than training completely alone.

According to a landmark meta-analysis, older adults in group-based programs are much more likely to stick to their fitness routines over time. The shared bond and social support create a powerful sense of belonging.

Encouragement Over Intense Competition

Some exercise classes feel highly competitive. People try to lift the heaviest weights or move the fastest.

My small groups are completely different. I create a warm, welcoming, and relaxed environment. We focus on support, not competition.

There is no pressure to outperform anyone else. We laugh, we talk, and we encourage one another.

Your only goal is to improve your own movement and feel better than you did yesterday. The group is there to lift you up and cheer you on every step of the way.

High-Value Coaching for Your Budget

Private one-on-one personal training is a fantastic investment. However, some clients prefer a more budget-friendly option for their weekly routine.

Small group training allows you to share the cost of my professional coaching. You get access to my CPT expertise at a fraction of the price of private sessions.

This makes it much easier to commit to multiple workouts per week. You can build a consistent, long-term routine without financial stress.

You get high-quality instruction, a custom focus, and a fun social hour all in one package.

Safe Progress in a Social Setting

Your safety remains my absolute top priority in a group. I design the workouts so that every individual can progress at their own speed.

If the group is working on squatting, I might give you a chair to assist your movement. Another member might use light weights.

I tailor the difficulty of each exercise to your personal abilities. You will always feel challenged, but you will never feel overwhelmed.

We will work together to make sure you stay safe, get stronger, and enjoy every single session.
